Roundturn

About Roundturn

This page is a draft. It will be reviewed by a professional before the public launch. Last updated 2026-10-03.

What it is

Roundturn is a journal and analytics web application for futures traders. A user uploads the trade history files they export from their own trading platform. Roundturn reads those files, combines the individual fills of each trade into one round turn (one complete trade, entry to exit), and shows statistics on that history: net profit and loss after fees, win rate, drawdown, and results by day and by instrument. The user can attach notes, tags and screenshots to any trade.

Roundturn starts with the Performance export from Tradovate. It is software for reviewing your own past results.

What it is not

Prop firm accounts

Some users trade accounts from prop firms. Roundturn lets a user record the rules and fees of those accounts, such as a maximum drawdown or a profit target, to follow their own progress. That tracking is informational. It may differ from the firm's official numbers, so always rely on the firm's own statements for anything that matters.

Risk disclosure

Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Roundturn displays statistics computed from the history you upload. Past results are not indicative of future results. Nothing in Roundturn is investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

Affiliations

Roundturn is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Tradovate or any other broker, exchange, data provider or prop firm. Product and company names are used only to describe which files the software can read.

Status and pricing

Roundturn is in development. The first release will be a free, invite-only beta. Paid plans may follow later, and they will be announced before anyone is charged.
